Welcome to the Blog!

Walking in SunlightTaking a walk in the sunshine on a warm afternoon … sitting under a shade tree when it gets hot or you just need to stop and take a timeout.  These are two of the many happy things we are able to do in life and they are both descriptive of what this website is all about.

For new readers, welcome! WalkingInSunlight.com has been our global home for the past six years. We have enjoyed sharing God’s Word through hand written Bible based literature each year and we look forward to many more years to come.  Our goal is to serve God and serve you by providing teaching material that is easy to use and encourages personal study and growth.

For members, thank you for your patience during our site redesign. We are excited to finally launch and hope you can benefit from the usability we have made a priority in the redesign. You’ll find we have new material available here. We will be using our blog to inform you of new literature as we publish them.

We will offer our perspective on the world we live in from the windy West Texas plains … or from anywhere else I might be on a particular day of the week.  But we will offer these thoughts in the blog area with a heavy dose of spiritually-related thoughts.  It is our hope that the words appearing in this blog from time to time will be encouraging … helpful … challenging … and thought-provoking as we make our journey through this life!  Your comments will always be welcome!

It was the apostle Paul who wrote by inspiration, “… whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy … meditate on these things.” (Philippians 4:8).
