I pulled up to an intersection and there sat a disheveled-looking man holding the usual sign. I wondered who he was … where he came from … what his life story was. I didn’t ask … the light changed … and I drove off!
But I came away with this thought: We matter to God!
• We matter … the words that we speak daily!
• We matter … the thoughts that we think daily!
• We matter … the things we do daily!
• We matter … when we’re up and when we’re down or somewhere in between!
I am so glad to know that God doesn’t drive off or drive past us … leaving us on our own!
“As a father pities his children, So the Lord pities those who fear Him. For He knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust.” (Psalm 103:13, 14)
